System Administrator at the Swedish Agency for Conscription and Evaluation

We are now looking for a system administrator who wants to contribute to the management and development of our operational systems.

In our unit, system administrators, project managers, requirements analysts, and business architects work together. We support and develop the agency's central processes for clients such as the Armed Forces and the Police Authority. We are also responsible for identifying and clarifying the organization's needs and requirements for the development of in-house systems and user support.

In total, we are nine colleagues working together to achieve our common goals, where we take responsibility for our own work as well as for each other, with a focus on quality in everything we do.

Your Responsibilities

As a system administrator, you are responsible for ensuring that our systems function effectively and meet the organization's needs. The role involves close collaboration with both users and the organization. In your daily work, you will be user-oriented and have good knowledge of the information systems that support the organization's processes.

In this role, you will among other things:

• perform operational work in systems, such as troubleshooting and configuration
• maintain, update, and provide user documentation
• conduct training, communicate changes, and be engaged in your role as support for users
• work with digitalization and development related to new routines and functions in the organization
• conduct acceptance testing regarding new versions

Your Qualifications

The following is required for the role of system administrator:

• relevant education in areas such as informatics or
• work experience deemed equivalent to the above educational requirements

Experience in support work is an advantage.

Your Personal Qualities

In the role of system administrator, you take responsibility for your tasks and have the ability to structure and drive processes forward. You can plan and organize work effectively, are flexible, and can adapt to changing circumstances. You also have analytical skills that allow you to work with complex issues and problems.

Collaboration is important for the role, and you should be able to work well with others and relate to them in a responsive manner. You remain calm in stressful situations and are accommodating in your service to others.

About the Employment

We offer you a permanent full-time position that begins with a probationary period.

Due to the nature of the work, you cannot work from home, but we hope that this can contribute to a clearer division between work and leisure. The position is security classified, and we therefore conduct a security review with a background check according to the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in wartime.
